It's September and hunting season in the bush. Big-game outfitter George Perry hires Kate and Jack Morgan to help guide a group of wealthy German computer executives. After successfully bagging a moose with two of her charges, Kate returns to camp to learn that one of the other hunters has been shot and killed. It appears to be an accident, until the body of a second hunter is discovered in even more gruesome circumstances. Faced with an abundance of potential suspects, Kate realizes the moose and the bears aren't the only creatures being hunted in the bush.
