Baykali Ganambarr was a member of Djuki Mala, previously known as the Chooky Dancers, are a dance troupe from Elcho Island in the Northern Territory. He was discovered for his role in The Nightingale from a Youtube video. The 24-year-old dancer from Arnhem Land, who has no formal acting training, portrays an Indigenous tracker in The Nightingale, a revenge thriller set in convict-era Tasmania.

Magnolia Maymuru is a Yirrkala model and actress.
